Interesting Development

Massive Attack's Producer Neil Davidge is composing the music for Halo 4. He is known for producing the group's famous (and popular) album Mezzanine. The series is built upon iconic music by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori, thus the music for the upcoming Halo trilogy will sound very different. As was the case with Halo's previous music, this music is very professional and has a very clean sound, which is becoming more and more common.

One can listen to parts of the soundtrack on IGN.
